Marc-Olivier Lamothe

Originally from Sherbrooke, Marc-Olivier Lamothe is a multidisciplinary visual artist. He graduated in computer graphics in 2009. He’s always been attracted to the world of design and creativity. Some years after his training, he started to pursue painting and illustrating as a hobby. In 2018, he created his first significant mural in his hometown as his endeavour. He realized the impact that colour and art can make on passersby and the community.

He was hesitant to venture into public spaces to create art but was very surprised by the positivity that emerged during and after its execution. In 2018, he worked for 8 months at Sid Lee in Montreal. This enriching experience brought him an amalgam of essential tools but also led him to question his identity and artistic vision. Following his experience at the agency, he launched himself as an independent multidisciplinary artist.
