Bouclair Web Survey Contest Rules

Who can enter:

This Contest is open to all legal Canadian residents, 18 years of age or older on November 26, 2020.

Contest period:

The Contest starts on November 26, 2020 ("Contest Start Date") at 9 a.m. (Eastern Standard Time) and closes on January 31st, 2021 (the "Contest Close Date") at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Standard Time ("Time of Closing").

How to enter:

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. All individuals who participate in a survey and provide their e-mail address ("Respondents") prior to the Time of Closing will be automatically entered one (1) Entry per Respondent into the Contest. Individuals may also submit additional Entries by handwriting their name, address, telephone number, e-mail address on an 8 1/2" x 11" piece of paper and submitting same by pre-paid mail to: Bouclair – Marketing Department, 152 Alston, Pointe-Claire, Quebec, H9R 6B4. Limit one (1) mail-in Entry per envelope per day. No photocopied or mechanically reproduced entries will be accepted. All mail-in entries must be postmarked on or before the Contest Close Date and must be received by January 31st, 2021 in order to be eligible for the Contest.

Prize draw:

On February 3rd, 2021, at approximately 4:00 p.m. (Eastern Standard Time), winning Entries will be randomly selected by computer from all eligible Entries received. In order to be declared a winner, the selected entrant must correctly answer a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question, to be administered by email, and his/her Entry has been verified by Bouclair. Bouclair reserves the right to require proof of age and jurisdiction of residence prior to awarding any prize.

Prize:

The prize to be awarded in this Contest will be as follows:
One $250 Bouclair gift card. The chances of winning are dependent upon the number of eligible entries received.

Winner notification:

Selected entrants will be notified via e-mail within 24 hours of the prize drawing. Selected entrants will be required to respond to the e-mail to acknowledge receipt of notification of eligibility for prize and to answer a mathematical skill-testing question. If no email response is obtained from a selected entrant within 5 business days of notification, prize is forfeit and another entrant will be randomly selected by computer from the remaining eligible Entries. Prizes will be delivered by mail within 30 days of correctly answering the mathematical skill-testing question.

General:

Bouclair is not responsible for any costs associated with claiming any prize. Winners are solely responsible for the reporting and payment of any and all taxes, if any, that may result in claiming a prize in this Contest. Prizes must be accepted as awarded, no substitutions. Bouclair shall bear no responsibility whatsoever for injuries, losses, or damages of any kind that result from acceptance, possession and/or use of any prize.

Bouclair is not responsible for technical or computer errors, or for late, lost, illegible, damaged, postage due, misdirected, misidentified or incomplete Entries. Entries in any way tampered with, forged, mutilated, incomplete, illegible, photocopied or mechanically reproduced, or submitted by or through fraudulent means, may be disqualified, in the sole discretion of Bouclair. This includes any Entry that does not comply with these contest Rules in any respect.

Decisions of Bouclair are final on all matters of fact, interpretation, eligibility, procedure and fulfillment in respect to this Contest. Bouclair reserves the right at any time to withdraw this Contest or to modify, amend, or supplement these rules, in its sole discretion.

All Entries become the property of Bouclair. By participating in this Contest and accepting a prize, prize-winner acknowledges having read and accepted these rules and consents to publication of name (first name and first letter of last name only) and the city of residence by Bouclair on Bouclair' Website without further compensation.

With respect to Quebec residents, any litigation respecting the conduct or organization of a publicity contest may be submitted to the Regie des alcools, des courses et des jeux for a ruling. Any litigation respecting the awarding of a prize may be submitted to the Regie only for the purpose of helping the parties reach a settlement.

This Contest is subject to all Federal, Provincial and local laws. Void where prohibited.
